For me I have to say this was a must buy as soon as I saw the figure for the first time and the biggest shame of it is I still have yet to play the game itself. I played the hell out of the demo until I ran out of play time and now I'm just waiting for it to drop in price.
So onto the review, this is easily the second most highly detailed figure I have purchased, everything is perfected to how she is in game. The figure of her body, the facial details and the fingers are really well done, most of the time for me I think the hands and fingers don't look at all that great but this one has got it all.
There is no articulation points simply because she is only made for a single pose which does look impressive, you can either choose to have her with or without the cloak that it comes with, its easy to add or remove just by simply removing her head or destroying the brain... wait no wrong subject :D
Personally I think she looks better with the cape, adds extra looks.
Only thing that I have had problems with so far is how easily her table with books on top can fall over, it's not attached to the base as well as the skull that comes with it, now you can either chance it and glue them into place very carefully or just make sure they are in a position where a slight shudder won't knock it, defiantly something to keep away from the kids.
There she stands... extremely beautiful figure.
The figure was sculpted by Shining Wizard @ Sawachika - here is the link to 1999.co.jp where you can find most of the Shining Wizard creations. http://www.1999.co.jp (figures)
Defiantly worth every penny!
Here I will be creating topics based on my interests and documenting my collection of video games followed by action figures.

Streets of Rage
So I finally managed to get round to buying an all time classic, that's right it's Streets of Rage! Now I remember the very first time I played this masterpiece a long long time ago, I think I was around 6 or 7 years old at the time? Anyhow I remember I was with my Sister and because she has been a mobile hair dresser for years she is always visiting peoples houses, one day she took me because she knew there was a client of hers who was just as obsessed with video games as I.
We met and I remember him pretty much having nearly every video game console you could buy at the time... I was pretty blown away and I remember being asked if I liked Streets of Rage, I didn't even know what it was until he booted it up on his Mega Drive. I gotta say I wasn't there long enough... the game was amazing in every way possible, the music went so well with going around bashing people up in the streets, the fighting moves were brutal and for the time a lot of the bosses were seriously tough, I remember getting seriously angry over Bongo the round 3 boss... after a couple of tries I was told it was time to go home and I was a grumpy sod for the rest of the night.
That... embarrassingly enough was the last time I had ever played the solid copy of the game... For a while now I've been listening to the original sound tracks of Streets of Rage 1 and 2 being mesmerized by its awesomeness. Last year in 2013 I was checking out a local vintage game shop that just opened up and I have to say the prices were ridicules... I remember seeing Streets of Rage on the Mega Drive for £78. Now I will willingly spend an abnormal amount of money on something if it triggers my fancies but it doesn't take a genius to work out something smells like a rat giant rat here. I go home straight to ebay and notice it for something stupid like £7 and for some reason I didn't buy it there and then, I guess I wasn't really feeling it that day. However last month I decided to buy myself a copy from ebay for £8.78 and I have to say it is pretty much in near perfect condition, there is a small tear on the back logo sheet but that isn't anything to cry over, unless I stare at it.
Been playing it for 4 solid days and I have to say it it triggered me off, I felt the emotions I did back when I was 7 or 8 when I first played it, had a damn good time with it. I speak to people today who enjoy video games who have never played or even heard of it, if you're one of those people I highly recommend buying yourself a copy right now, you're missing out on one of the best beat 'em ups out there.

Introduction
Greetings
Hello and welcome to my new project, here I shall be uploading a collection of video games, action figures and more. I have always collected video games since I was 7 years old and I still continue to horde as much as I possibly can but not just video games... as of recently I have taken interest in action figures and how good it feels to actually own my favourite game characters or just models that I generally take interest too.
Is it worth the money you might ask? That entirely depends on you, yes it is important not to let it over run your earnings like myself... yes I learned the hard way! If you know it is what you want to do then go ahead and treat yourself, eventually I will end up spending a lot of money on them. They are like any other art piece, a painting, a china statue or even a video game, art and collection defines who we are, you can learn a lot about somebody just by taking a couple of minuets in front of a book shelf or a display cabinet.
How to start off from nothing? When I was 9 I was taken to a market in London where I purchased my first action figure, it was Selphie from Final Fantasy 8. I remember the excitement and also being told on the day not to open the box because someday I might regret it... and of course like a child would I rip the box open as soon as I get home and stand it proud on my shelf next to my tv. Now some how over the last couple of years I managed to lose her Nunchaku... I was pretty upset but that's what I get for being so careless. Last month I replaced them with left over Airfix sprockets, I managed to find two perfect straight pieces of plastic just big enough to fit in the figures hands, I filed them down very finely and added some paint, a chain to connect them both and I had restored an old figure, it felt quite good actually.
Here we have the results to that, apologies for the bad lighting.
Now back on track to the original topic, how to start off? In my recent experience markets in your local towns don't normally sell figures any more... yeah you'll find something like cheap Action Men, Airfix models missing their parts previously used for spares or Fisher Price baby toys. If you have an internet connection you're golden. Ebay is your best course of action hands down, I almost always find really good deals and high quality models from Japan or the USA and most of the time are free P&P which is always a bonus.
Knowing brands is one of the most important things to take into consideration as far as I am concerned, brands such as Play Arts Kai, Shiny Wizard@Sawatika, Bandai and Hot Toys make some of the best detailed figures I have seen yet and they really do well at hiding articulation which for me is very important, I really cannot take seeing a huge ball joint on the legs and arms. By far the worst quality figure I have purchased, without naming any brands has to be The Hound from Game of Thrones. Now I used to be all for keeping things inside the box and letting dust and age get the better of them but now I like to look upon my collection without seeing them covered in plastic, as soon as I opened The Hound up his right foot instantly fell out, there are absolutely zero signs of glue for it to be held into place, and his sword holder just on the left side of the figures belt... fell off as soon as I touch it, I'm not even heavy handed. Big shame but it's all part of the game, anything could go wrong but sometimes you need to take a chance otherwise what is there to learn?
I'll be wrapping it up for today and I shall be posting either this weekend or next week of another collectable, have a good night.
